Removal



1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Remove the lower protective shield 1, front bumper 2, upper cross member 5, radiator grille 3 and front right headlight 4 together with the turn signal (see figure 4.51).

3. Disconnect the compressed air supply pipe from the top 7 and bottom 8 from the turbocharger radiator 6.

4. Disconnect the M43.1 fan wiring connector from the retainer on the radiator.

5. Unscrew the safety bolt 10 (see figure 4.52).

6. Lift the cooling system radiator 9 together with the turbocharger radiator 6 and remove the support 12 and rubber cushion 11 from the turbocharger radiator 6.



7. Remove turbocharger radiator 6 from the guides (arrow) on the cooling system radiator.

8. Remove the turbocharger radiator fan.

Installation



9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Lift the turbocharger radiator 6 upwards and insert it into the guides 8 (arrow) of the cooling system radiator. Check that the compressed air supply tubes are connected correctly and replace them if necessary.
