Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the front cross member.
3. Remove the radiator grille.
4. Remove the alternator drive belt 6 (see figure 3.55).

5. Remove the generator drive belt tensioner 5.
6. Unscrew bolt 1 of the bracket securing the pipes 2 of the air conditioning system.
7. Unscrew bolts 3.
8. Unscrew nuts 4.
9. Disconnect connector G1.1 from generator G1.
10. Remove generator G1.
Installation
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
