2. Remove spark plug 1 (see figure 3.53).

2. Ignition coil,
3. Compression gauge,
4. Throttle valve.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector from ignition coil 2.
4. Insert compression gauge 3 into the hole for spark plug 1.
5. Start the engine with the starter approximately 8 times. Take measurements for all cylinders in the same order.
- Compression of a new engine: 10-13 bar.
- Worn engine compression: 7.5 bar.
- Permissible deviation between cylinder pressures: 3 bar.
