Removal



1. Place the vehicle in the "Service Position".

2. Turn off the ignition.

3. Remove the wheel.

4. Remove ABS sensors B79, 80, 81, 82 from the guide holes (see figure 9.26).

5. Disconnect the ABS sensor wire, if it is to be replaced, from the tie strap.

6. Cut the new ABS sensor wire approximately 40 mm longer than the removed one and insert it into bushing 3.

7. Trim the sheath of the connection wire approximately 40mm from the end where the new wire will be connected.

8. Cut the wire to about 20 mm and remove the protective layer to about 6 mm in length.

9. Insert the ends of the wire of the same color into the bushings 2 and clamp them with pliers.

10. Place tube 3 on the connecting section and heat it with a hot air gun (approximately 250... 300°C) until both ends of the tube melt and the connected part of the wire is completely sealed on both sides (arrows).



Installation



11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace the tie straps. Apply sealant to the hole for the sensor.
