Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the engine protective cover.
3. Drain the engine oil.
4. Disconnect the ground wire from the cylinder block.
5. Disconnect wiring connector 3 from the oil level sensor (figure 2.64).
6. Unscrew the cross member 5 of the front axle.
7. Unscrew the pan mounting bolts 6.
8. Remove the pan 1 together with the gasket. Wipe the sealing surface and remove any remaining gasket from the pan.

Installation
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. The order of loosening and tightening the pan mounting bolts is shown in the figure 2.65.
