Removal



1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and remove the rear wheels.

2. Disconnect the brake force distributor rod from the lower retainer (figure 5.22).

3. Unscrew the bolt securing the stabilizer to the earring (figure 5.23).

4. Unscrew the upper shock absorber mounting bolt (figure 5.24).

5. Unscrew the nuts securing the ladders. Lower the rear axle and remove the U-bolts and plate (figure 5.25).

6. Unscrew the front spring bracket mounting nut and remove the gasket (figure 5.26).

7. Unscrew the lower nut of the spring bracket and remove the gasket (figure 5.27).

8. Remove the spring. Unscrew nut 1 on the earring and remove bolt 4 (figure 5.28). Remove earring 3 and bushing 2. Check the bushing and replace it if necessary.
