1. Remove the rear shock absorber or suspension strut (on vehicles with body position control).
2. Install the spring compressor onto the suspension spring. To do this, compress the spring to failure with a trolley jack placed under the diagonal suspension arm, and then install the fixture on five turns of the spring.
3. Lower the swing arm just enough to remove the rear suspension spring along with the top mount rubber pad.
4. Remove the support rubber pad and loosen the spring compressor if necessary.
5. Clean the top and bottom spring seats.
6. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. At the same time, make sure that the lower end of the spring enters the special groove of the diagonal suspension arm. Tighten the shock absorber mounting nuts after loading the suspension with the weight of the vehicle.
