1. Remove rear suspension assembly (see Removal and installation of the rear suspension assembly).
2. Remove the wheel drive shaft.
3. Loosen the nuts and remove the mounting bolts, then remove the diagonal suspension arm from the cross member (see illustration rear axle).
4. If necessary, the rubber bushings of the attachment points can be removed with a mandrel, long bolt, nuts and spacers. New rubber bushings can be installed in the same way by first dampening them with soapy water and inserting them from the outer surface of the diagonal control arm.
