Removal
1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. Remove the top cover of the instrument panel.
3. Unscrew screws 2 and remove relay and fuse box 1 with pin 4 from support post 5 (figure 8.15).
4. Disconnect air ducts 7 and 8 from the heater body.
5. Unscrew the screws 9 securing the air distributor 10 to the floor.
6. Disconnect cable 11 for fresh air supply control from guide 12.
7. Disconnect the fresh air/recirculation control cable from the fresh air/recirculation switch 13.
8. Disconnect the wiring connectors 14.
9. Partially drain the coolant.
10. Loosen clamps 15 of pipes 16 and disconnect them from adapters 17.
11. Unscrew screws 18.
12. Remove the heater housing 19 together with the air distributor.
Installation
13. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
