Direction indicator lamp (2, see fig. 334). The arrows should flash individually when the direction indicator is turned on and together when the alarm is turned on.
ABS warning lamp (3, see fig. 334).Illuminates when the ignition is switched on. With the engine running or driving faster than 5 km/h, the lamp should go out after about 2 seconds.
Pic. 335. The left side of the line of control lamps: 1 - indicator of switching on the main beam of headlights; 2 — a control lamp of charging of the battery; 3 - indicator of the work of glow plugs; 4 — a control lamp of wear of brake pads; 5 - indicator of the parking brake and brake fluid level; 6 - oil pressure warning lamp
high beam indicator (1, fig. 335). When signaling with high beam headlights or when they are turned on, the blue indicator lamp should light up.
Battery charge warning lamp (2, see fig. 335). It should light up when the ignition is turned on and go out when the engine is running.
Glow plug/immobilizer indicator (3, see fig. 335). It burns until the glow plugs reach operating temperature.
Brake pad wear indicator (4, see fig. 335). Lights up when braking if the thickness of the front brake pads is less than 3.5 mm and the pads need to be replaced.
Brake warning lamp (5, see fig. 335). Lights up when the parking brake is applied, as well as insufficient brake fluid level.
Oil pressure warning lamp (6, see fig. 335). Lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out when the engine is started. If the lamp does not go out when starting the engine, stop the engine immediately and find out the cause.
Pic. 336. The far right of the line of control lamps: 1 — a control lamp of the ABD system; 2 — a control lamp of system SRS (airbag); 3 - indicator of switching on the differential lock; 4 — a control lamp of a control system of the engine (only for mod. 212D, 312D, 412D); 5 - all-wheel drive connection indicator
ABD warning lamp (1, fig. 336): ABD system or road condition warning is on.
SRS warning lamp (2, see fig. 336). Lights up for about 10 seconds when the ignition is turned on. If it then goes out, the airbag and seat belts are OK and in working order.
Differential lock indicator (3, see fig. 336). Illuminates when the differential lock is engaged and goes out when disengaged.
Control lamp of a control system of the engine 4 (see fig. 336). When the ignition key is turned to the position «2», the EDC symbol lights up. It should go out when the engine is running. If the indicator does not light up or go out during the trip, there is a malfunction in the electronic engine control system, so you should contact a service station as soon as possible.
Pointer 5 to connect all-wheel drive (see fig. 336). Lights up when all wheel drive is connected.
Front/rear fog light indicator. The lamp is located in the switch and should light up when the switch is pressed to the «1». If the ignition is switched off when the fog lamps are on, a warning signal will sound. If only rear fog lamps are installed, the lamp comes on when the switch is turned on.
Alarm indicator. The red switch on top of the steering column should flash in sync with the direction indicators. It must be remembered that with the rear doors open or the tailgate folded down, the rear lights are not visible.
Liquid level indicator in the washer reservoir. Top up with water if the lamp is on.
