Sequence of works
1. Remove the end of the fuel return line and lower it into a measuring container.
2. Distribution fuel injection pump: Start the engine. In idle mode, 0.25 l should be supplied in 15 s.
3. In-line fuel injection pump: Remove the ignition key to prevent the engine from starting.
4. Crank the starter with the jumper cable for 30 seconds.
5. With a good battery, the supplied amount of fuel should be at least 0.15 l.
6. If the measured amount of fuel is insufficient, replace the fuel pump.
