When the brake pedal is pressed or the speed is below 40 km/h, the system is automatically deactivated. In addition, you can enter into memory the value of the speed, which will be set again after braking. After switching off the ignition, the saved value is erased from the memory.
Principle of operation
Throttle actuator
A device is used that regulates the idle speed and controls the throttle valve using an electric motor.
Sensor
The speed signal is taken from the sensor on the rear axle and processed in the control unit.
Electronic control unit
Located on the right in the mounting block, compares the current value of the movement speed with the desired one. The control unit gives a command to the actuator to increase the fuel supply (when driving uphill) or, conversely, reduce the feed (downhill). The set speed value is also stored in the control unit.
Switch
It is located under the steering column on the left and serves to turn the system on or off and to select the operating mode.
