When you press the brake pedal or the speed is below 40 km/h, the system is automatically switched off. In addition, you can enter into memory the speed value that will be set again after braking. After turning off the ignition, the stored value is erased from the memory.
Operating principle
Throttle actuation device
A device is used to regulate the idle speed and control the throttle valve using an electric motor.
Sensor
The speed signal is taken from a sensor on the rear axle and processed in the control unit.
Electronic control unit
Located on the right side of the assembly block, it compares the current speed value with the desired one. The control unit commands the actuator to increase the fuel supply (when driving uphill) or, on the contrary, reduce the feed (on the descent). The set speed value is also saved in the control unit.
Switch
It is located under the steering column on the left and is used to turn the system on or off and to select the operating mode.
