In the E-class model, most parameters are controlled by electronic devices. The driver can only follow the readings of a small number of indicators and warning lamps.
Oil pressure and airbag control lamps
The oil pressure or airbag warning lamp should only come on when the ignition is turned on for about 6 seconds. If, on the contrary, the lamp does not go out, lights up or flashes during the trip, there is a malfunction in the airbag system. In this case, have it checked by a workshop immediately.
Sensors, wires and switches
Control systems also fail. Sometimes, due to damage to sensors or wires, a faulty switch causes incorrect information. If you have found that many devices show distorted data, the generator voltage regulator may be faulty, so the voltage in the on-board network rises or falls.
