Sequence of works
1. Unlock the steering column adjustment system and pull the steering wheel forward completely.
Fig. 9.34. The instrument cluster (1) can be removed from the instrument panel (3) using two suitable hooks (2), for example from bicycle spokes. Do not forget to pull out the steering wheel completely
2. On the left side, remove the lower panel covering the instrument cluster (Fig. 9.34).
3. Press the instrument cluster at the rear towards the steering wheel.
Fig. 9.35. Incandescent lamps without bases (arrow) are installed in plastic sockets, which are fixed to the instrument cluster on so-called bayonet clamps. It is better to use tweezers to remove these small parts
4. It can be removed using two specially bent bicycle spokes. Carefully insert the spokes from above the combination, push them from the side to the lower corner and insert the bent ends, turning them 90°. If the hooks are caught on the combination, pull it out (Fig. 9.35).
5. Lift the clip on both plug connectors and disconnect the connectors.
6. Carefully remove the combination from the side, being careful not to scratch the top surface of the instrument panel.
Instrument cluster malfunctions
If any of the instrument cluster indicators fail, you should first check the fuse box. There are special repair shops for checking and repairing instruments.
