This most important electrical component in the vehicle is located in the rear part of the engine compartment on the left (Fig. 9.38). It contains five fuse boxes (F1/1–5), a diagnostic connector, a clock module and, if available, an ADS controller. On the bottom side of the fuse and relay box are color-coded plug combs. To remove the connector, press the sliding latches on the side. Some power connections have threaded fastening.
