Sequence of work
1. If it is necessary to replace the fuse, you can use the plastic tweezers that are included in the standard tool kit.
2. Remove the blown fuse from the contacts with tweezers.
3. Insert a new fuse of the same rating into the contacts. Make sure the contact is secure.
4. If the new fuse blows immediately, find out from the table. 9.1, whether a fuse of a smaller rating than required has been installed.
5. If everything is correct, determine the electrical appliance connected to the circuit from the table and check it separately. If necessary, refer to the appropriate wiring diagram.
Fuse replacement
1. If a newly installed fuse blows immediately after replacement, check the appropriate circuit.
2. Never replace fuses with a piece of wire, paper clip or other «bugs». This is fraught with serious damage to the electrical system.
3. There should always be a set of spare fuses in the car (see table. 9.1).
