Removal
Location of the retaining clip that needs to be pressed to remove the distributor housing
1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.
2. Open the hood and place it in a vertical position.
3. Press the retaining clips and remove the distributor housing (see picture).
4. Mark and remove the high voltage wires from the spark plugs.
5. Using a thin screwdriver blade, lift the high-voltage wire cover on the cylinder head cover and move it to the side without disconnecting the high-voltage wires from it. If necessary, mark and disconnect the high-voltage wires from the distributor cap.
6. Loosen the clamps and remove the cylinder head cover ventilation hose from the air cleaner.

7. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.
8. Unscrew 8 bolts and remove the cylinder head cover. Remove the gasket.
Installation
1. Check the condition of the cylinder head cover gasket and replace it if necessary.
2. Starting from the front of the cover, install the gasket into the groove of the cylinder head cover.
3. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
