Removal



Removal the fuel pump from the engine

Removal the fuel pump sealing block


1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.

2. Place a container with rags under the fuel pump. Label the fuel hoses connected to the fuel pump. Loosen the clamps and remove the feed and return fuel hoses from the fuel pump.

3. Unscrew the nuts and remove the fuel pump from the engine (see Fig. Removing the fuel pump from the engine).

4. Remove the push rod and remove the seal block (see Fig. Removing the fuel pump drive pusher, Removing the fuel pump sealing block).

5. Check the condition of the O-rings and replace them if necessary.

Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Install the pusher so that the locking ring on the pusher is on the fuel pump side. Before installing the fuel pump, check the freedom of movement of the pusher in the sealing block.
