Removing
The location of the lower bolt of the engine mount
Arrangement of bolts of fastening of a pipe of an oil radiator to the oil pallet
1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
2. Unscrew the bolt and remove the air intake tube.
3. Remove the radiator fan shroud.
4. Remove the lower engine mudguard.
5. Drain the engine oil from the engine.
6. Remove the front stabilizer bar.
7. On both sides of the engine, unscrew the lower bolts of the engine mounts (see fig. The location of the lower bolt of the engine mount).
8. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the oil level and oil pressure sensors.
9. On automatic transmission models, unscrew the nuts and bolts and remove the pipes from the oil pan.
10. Remove the nuts and bolts securing the oil cooler pipes to the oil pan and intake manifold bracket and move them to the side (see fig. Arrangement of bolts of fastening of a pipe of an oil radiator to the oil pallet).
11. Hook the engine with the hoist straps and raise it just enough so that the weight of the engine can be supported by the hoist.
12. Remove the center tie rod and steering damper.
13. Remove the two lower gearbox-to-engine bolts.
14. Raise the engine to access the oil pan bolts.
15. Unscrew the oil pan bolts evenly in a diagonal sequence. Note the location of the bolts as they are of different lengths.
16. Lower the oil pan and remove it from under the vehicle. Remove the gasket.
Installation
1. Clean the mating surfaces of the oil pan and cylinder block.
2. Install the oil pan with a new gasket on the engine, screw in the bolts and tighten them to the required torque.
3. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Fill the engine with engine oil. On models with automatic transmission, check the oil level in the transmission.
