Removal
Unscrewing the left steering shock absorber mount
Unscrewing the right steering shock absorber mount
1. Apply the parking brake, then raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.
2. Unscrew the nuts and remove the bolts securing the shock absorber, then remove the shock absorber, noting its location (see fig. Unscrewing the left steering shock absorber mount, Unscrewing the right steering shock absorber mount).
3. Check the condition of the shock absorber for wear and damage and replace it if necessary. Also check the condition of the rubber cushions and replace them if necessary.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Check the correct positioning of the shock absorber. Screw new nuts onto the shock absorber mounting bolts and tighten them to the required torque.
