1. The bumper retainers are accessed from the luggage compartment. Remove the luggage compartment trim panels and the cover from the rear panel. This will give access to the rear bumper mounting nuts. On Estate models, also remove the spare tire.

2. Remove the rubber seals from the left and right sides of the rear bumper (see Fig. Removing the rubber seal from the right side of the rear bumper).

3. Remove the nuts securing the left and right sides of the rear bumper, then remove the remaining nuts and remove the rear bumper from the vehicle (see fig. Location of rear bumper mounting nuts).



Installation



1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
