Removing the front license plate stand
1. Apply the parking brake, then raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.
2. Open the hood, unscrew the nut and remove the bolt located at the top center of the bumper (see fig. Unscrewing the nut located in the center of the bumper in its upper part).
3. On models with an outdoor temperature gauge on the instrument cluster, unscrew the screws and remove the license plate from the front bumper. Remove the two rubber plugs, then unscrew the mounting screw and remove the outside air temperature sensor and license plate stand from the bumper (see fig. 4. From under the car, unscrew the bolts securing the ends of the bumper to the bracket. On models with an oil cooler, unscrew the heat exchanger bracket and remove the heat exchanger to access the left bumper mounting bolts.
5. Remove the bumper nuts and remove the bumper.
6. Check the condition of the bumper brackets and replace if damaged.
Installation
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
