Removal
1. Open the hood.
2. Unscrew bolts 1, 2 and 3 (see illustration).
Please note: The illustration shows the rear side of the removed front bumper.
3. Remove the expansion clamps 4 in both front wheel arches (see illustration 27.2).
4. Release bumper 5 from the side guides by pressing it towards the middle of the car, and then remove it, working together with an assistant.
Installation
The bumper is installed in the reverse order of removal.
5. Secure the bumper to the side guides (see arrow in illustration).
The tightening torque of the bolts securing the bumper to the crossmember is 3 Nm.
