Removal

1. Mark the position of the rear wheel on the hub with paint. This will allow you to install the balanced wheel in its original position during assembly.

2. Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. The car must be standing on its wheels when performing this operation.

3. Place the front of the car on stands and, after unscrewing the wheel bolts, remove the wheel.

4. Release the fasteners 1 and unscrew the flat nuts 2 (see illustration).

4. Release the fasteners 1 and unscrew the flat nuts 2 (see illustration).

Please note: The illustration shows the rear left wheel arch liner.

5. Remove the fender liner.

Installation

The installation of the mudguard is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

6. Install the rear wheel in accordance with the marks made during removal. Before doing this, lubricate the seat of the wheel disk on the hub with a thin layer of bearing grease.

Do not lubricate the wheel mounting bolts. Screw in the wheel mounting bolts and lower the vehicle.

Tighten the nuts in a crisscross pattern to 110 Nm.
