Removal the front door trim


1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.



2. On models with manual adjustment of the outside rearview mirror, release the bracket securing the mirror handle and remove the handle.

3. On models with manual windows, release the window handle cover retaining clip and remove the cover. Remove the window handle from the door.

4. On models with power front seat adjustment, remove the switch from the door.

5. On all models, remove the decorative mirror cover from the inside of the door by first detaching its top edge (see Fig. Removing the decorative mirror trim from the inside of the door).

6. Lift the inner door handle and remove the decorative handle cover. Unscrew the screw securing the inner door handle, then move the handle forward and remove it from the door, while disconnecting the rod from the handle (see fig. Removing the decorative trim from the inner door opening handle, Unscrewing the screw securing the inner door opening handle, Removing the inner door opening handle).

7. Unscrew the screw and remove the door lock trim (see fig. Unscrewing the screw securing the decorative door lock trim). On Coupe models, also remove the trim from the top of the door.

8. Move the door trim upward to release it from the mounting brackets and disconnect the electrical connectors from the door trim (see fig. Removing the front door trim).

1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.



2. Remove the ashtray from the rear door, then unscrew the screw and remove the ashtray trim panel (see fig. Unscrewing the screw securing the decorative ashtray cover).

3. On models with manual windows, release the window handle cover retaining clip and remove the cover. Remove the window handle from the door.

4. On models with power windows, after removing the handle trim, disconnect the power window electrical connector.

5. Remove the screw and remove the door lock trim. On Coupe models, also remove the upper door trim.

6. Move the door trim upward to release it from the mounting brackets and disconnect the electrical connectors from the door trim.

Installation



1. Install the door trim in the reverse order of removal. When installing the door trim, do not forget to pass the lock button through the hole in the upper part of the door trim. Before tightening the screw for fastening the inner door opening handle, apply a means to the screw thread that prevents the screw from unscrewing.
