Removal auxiliary units (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W123)

Before disassembling the main engine units, remove auxiliary and mounted units from it. The sequence below may vary slightly due to different vehicle configurations.

Shoot:

• power steering pump;
• generator;
• intake and exhaust manifolds;
• fuel hoses, lines and fuel pump;
• distributor, high voltage wires and spark plugs;
• engine mount brackets;
• clutch;
• oil filter and its housing;
• thermostat;
• air conditioning compressor;
• oil level indicator dipstick tube;
• water pump.
