Removing
1. Remove the engine cover or air filter vertically from the cylinder head covers.
2. The air intake system must not be disassembled.
3. Fix the V-belt tensioner with a drift or 5 mm pin.
4. Rotate the crankshaft in the direction of rotation and stop the No. 1 cylinder piston at 40°after TDC. The grooves on the camshafts must point inwards.
5. To remove the chain tensioner, tilt the generator. To do this, unscrew the upper bolt and loosen the lower one.
6. Secure the chain with a cable connector to the right camshaft sprocket. Mark the left camshaft sprocket with respect to the chain. Jumping the chain on the crankshaft and balancing shaft is not possible.
7. Pay attention to different length of bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of a camshaft. Mark the position of the bolts.
8. Turn away 4 bolts of fastening (a/b) covers of the housing of the gas distribution mechanism.
9. Turn out bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders in sequence of numbering, ie. 1 to 8. This requires a Torx socket. Z1 to Z6 - designation of cylinders from 1 to 6. The arrow indicates the direction of movement of the car.
Installation
1. Tighten the cylinder head bolts in the sequence from 1 to 8 in four steps, with the forces specified in the Specifications.
Attention! If the bolt tightening torque has been accidentally exceeded, remove the bolt. Check the length of the bolt and replace it with a new one if necessary. Bolt length cannot exceed 144.5 mm. Tighten the bolt again, starting with step 1.
2. Fix the cylinder head with four bolts (a/b) to the valve body cover. The arrow points in the direction of travel.
3. The sequence of tightening the bolts for fastening the camshaft bearing housings is presented in the Specifications.
