Removal



1. Remove the fan cover or air filter depending on the engine model.

2. Loosen the V-belt. To do this, install a 10 mm Torx external key and tilt the tension lever with the tension roller counterclockwise.

Caution! Do not deflect the lever by the tension roller mounting nut.


3. Remove the V-belt.

4. Check the belt, refer to Chapter Routine maintenance.

Installation

1. Put on the V-belt, starting from the tension roller. Then put on the belt in the sequence of numbers.

2. Slowly turn the tension roller clockwise, while monitoring the position of the belt on the pulleys.

3. The position mark (B), visible from the bottom of the engine, must be in the range (A). If the mark is in a different place, the specified belt length does not correspond or the belt tensioner is installed incorrectly.

4. Install the fan cover or air filter depending on the engine model.

Main drive belt



Removal



1. Remove the compressor belt.

2. Loosen and remove the V-belt in the same way as the compressor belt.

Installation

1. Put on the V-belt according to the sequence of numbers in the illustration and tension it in the same way as the compressor belt.

2. Put on the compressor belt.
