Compressor drive belt

Removing
1. Remove fan cover or air filter depending on engine model.
2. Loosen the V-belt. To do this, install a Torx 10 mm external wrench and tilt the tension lever with the tension roller counterclockwise.
Attention! Do not deflect the lever by the tension roller mounting nut.
3. Remove the V-belt.
4. Check the belt, refer to the head Current service.
Installation

1. Put on the V-belt, starting with the tension roller. Next, put on the belt in sequence of numbers.
2. Slowly turn the idler pulley clockwise, while keeping track of the position of the belt on the pulleys.
3. Position mark (IN), seen from the underside of the engine, must be in the range (A). If the mark is in a different place, the belt length does not correspond to the specified one or the belt tensioner is incorrectly installed.
4. Install the fan cover or air filter depending on the engine model.
Main drive belt
Removing
1. Remove the compressor belt.
2. Loosen and remove the V-belt in the same way as the compressor belt.
Installation
1 - Tension roller; 2 - Crankshaft; 3 - Air conditioner refrigerator compressor; 5 - Power steering pump or dual pump; 6 - Coolant pump
1. Put on the V-belt in accordance with the sequence of numbers in the illustration and tension in the same way as the compressor belt.
2. Put on the compressor belt.
