2.0L diesel engine
3. Oil drain plug
6. Engine stop (type 201)
24. Engine damper (type 201)
Removing
1. Remove the bottom cover of the engine compartment.
2. Remove the anti-roll bar.
3. Disconnect the left tie rod and the right steering damper.
4. Drain the engine oil.
5. Disconnect the battery ground cable (–).
Attention! This erases the anti-theft code of the radio.
6. Disconnect the positive cable X4 from the connection to the underside of the vehicle on the left and lay it on top of the engine.
7. Detach the fan shroud and place on top of the fan.
8. Unscrew the speed sensor (L3).
9. Disconnect the ground wire between the starter and the body (arrow).
10. Remove the oil level sensor plug.
11. Disassemble the intermediate steering arm.
12. Automatic transmission: Separate the oil lines in the fittings from the oil hoses by first clamping the oil lines with hose clamps. Close the connection elements with small plastic bags so that dirt does not penetrate into them.
13. Hook the engine with a suitable cable or chain to the front eye (arrow) and lift with a crane. If a crane is not available, insert a suitable rod into the cable, raise the engine slightly and support it on stands.
14. Unscrew from the bottom of the side member a bolt with an internal hexagon for the left front engine mount.
15. Unscrew the hexagon bolt from the bottom of the side member of the right front engine mount.
16. Raise the engine as high as possible.
17. Oil sump with flanged side section: unscrew the side section and remove it together with the seal.
18. Unscrew the fastening bolts (19) oil pan and remove the oil pan (45) forward in the direction of travel. Turn the crankshaft slightly if necessary.
19. Remove the seal (45a), thoroughly clean the sealing surfaces of the sump and crankcase.
Installation
1. Negative battery cable. Install the oil pan with a new seal, orienting it against the back of the transmission, and evenly hand-tighten the mounting bolts. Then alternately tighten the bolts with the following torques:
- M 6 - 10 Nm;
- M 8 - 25 Nm;
- M 10 - 40 Nm.
Attention! On vehicles with automatic transmission, ensure that the calibrated groove on the oil pan interface fits into the engine block balance sleeve.
2. If removed: install the side part of the oil pan with a new seal and tighten to 10 Nm.
3. Lower the engine.
4. Establish bolts of fastening of a forward support of the engine and tighten with the moment of 30 Нм.
5. Automatic transmission: connect oil lines, remove hose clamps.
6. Install the intermediate steering arm.
7. Plug in the oil level sensor plug.
8. Screw on the speed sensor.
9. Screw cable "masses" between starter and body.
10. Install and secure the fan shroud with clips.
11. Connect positive cable (X4).
12. Hang the left longitudinal steering draft and the right absorber of a steering.
13. Install stabilizer.
14. Install the bottom cover of the engine compartment.
15. Fill with engine oil.
16. Connect wire "masses" batteries.
17. Set the clock
18. Set the radio's anti-theft code.
19. Warm up the engine and check the oil pan for leaks.
20. Automatic transmission: check the oil level.
