Removal



1. Remove the lower engine compartment cover.

2. Remove the stabilizer.

3. Drain the engine oil.

4. Remove the cover (16).

5. Remove the clamps (2).

6. Lift the fan housing and place it on the fan.

7. Disconnect the clamps (1) from the radiator.

8. Loosen the upper oil line (arrow) on the power steering pump and turn it down.



9. Remove the engine wiring harness tape.

10. Remove the engine wiring cover from the interunit bulkhead.

11. Disconnect the front exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.

12. Unscrew the exhaust pipe holder support from the gearbox.

13. Disconnect the oil level sensor plug.

14. Remove the front engine mount bolts.

15. Remove the rear engine mount mounting bolts.

16. Attach the engine to the front and rear lugs.

17. Raise the engine as horizontally as possible.

18. Unscrew the mounting bolts (6/ 7/ 8/ 9/ 10) oil pan and remove the oil pan (56) (see Fig. Oil pan mounting bolts).

19. Thoroughly clean the sealing surface of the oil pan and crankshaft housing.

Installation



1. Install the oil pan with a new sealing gasket, align it with the rear mating surface of the gearbox and tighten the bolts evenly by hand. Then tighten the bolts alternately to the specified torque (see Fig. Oil pan mounting bolts).

Caution: If the oil pan is not aligned with the transmission, this will cause noise later.


2. Lower the engine.

3. Insert the front engine mount mounting bolts and tighten them by hand.

4. Tighten the front engine mount bolts to 40 Nm.

5. Install the oil level sensor plug.

6. Attach the front exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold, exhaust pipe bracket support to the transmission.

7. Install the engine wiring cover on the bulkhead separating the units.

8. Secure the engine wiring to the right wheel.

9. Rotate the power steering pump oil line upward and secure.

10. Place the clamps on the radiator.

11. Install the fan housing and secure with clamps.



12. Install the cover (16).

13. Install the stabilizer.

14. Install the lower engine compartment cover.

15. Fill with engine oil.

16. Warm up the engine and check the oil pan for leaks.
