Removal
1. Drain the coolant.
2. Remove the alternator drive belt 1 (see figure 5.37).

5. Cooling system pump,
6, 7. Cooling system pipes,

3. Remove the high pressure fuel pump 2.
4. Remove pulley 3 of the cooling system pump 5.
5. Disconnect cooling system pipes 6 and 7 from cooling system pump 5. Check their condition and replace them if necessary.
6. Unscrew the bolts 4 securing the cooling system pump 5.
7. Remove the cooling system pump 5.
Installation
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Wipe the sealing surfaces, replace the gasket.
