Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the upper cross beam.
3. Remove the radiator 1 upwards (see figure 5.34).

4. Disconnect locking disc 5 and nut 6, or unscrew nut 6 and, if necessary, remove lock washer 4.
5. Remove impeller 3.
6. Disconnect the M43.3 wiring connector from the radiator (arrow).
7. Remove the quick-release clamp (arrow) and disconnect the wiring from it.
8. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the M34 fan drive and remove the drive together with the wiring.
Installation
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace locking disc 5 or locking washer 4 and make sure they are installed correctly.
