Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector M34b20.1 from the thermal switch M34b20 (see figure 2.110).

4. Unscrew the thermal switch M34b20.
5. Disconnect the wiring connector M34b45.1 from the boil protection sensor M34b45.

6. Unscrew the M34b45 boil protection sensor.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace seal 1 and 2.
