O – Ignition is locked. Only in this position can the key be removed from the lock.
1 – Ignition is on (when turning the key to the right from position "O" to position "1", you may need to turn the steering wheel slightly).
2 – Vehicle with petrol engine. Position permitting movement.
3 – Start position.
Caution! Do not remove the key while the vehicle is moving.
After removing the key, turn the steering wheel slightly to engage the steering lock.
In position 1, you can turn on the wipers, glass washer, headlight washer, lighter, light signal, glove compartment light, radio, rear window heating, window raiser, sunroof, and change the position of the front seats.
When the engine is idling, the generator current output is insignificant. It is recommended to switch off all power consumers when driving slowly, if possible, to prevent the battery from discharging quickly: first of all, this concerns the rear window heating. In addition, set the air supply regulator to the "I" position.
