A car with an automatic transmission must be towed in compliance with certain rules, otherwise the gearbox may be damaged. Some recommendations for towing a car with an automatic transmission are given in subsection 13.2.1. You should read them before you start towing. Otherwise, the car should be transported on a tow truck.
