- do not exceed the speed limit specified for your tires. Excessive speed leads to increased wear and tear, and in the worst case, to rupture;
- avoid driving at maximum speed with a fully loaded vehicle. A simple check can be done by touching the tires with your hand. If the temperature of the heated tire does not exceed body temperature, everything is fine. Hot tires indicate underinflation or other problem. In this case, you should remove the tires and have them checked by a specialist;
- if you frequently drive at high speed, install tires with a speed rating one notch higher than required. The necessary advice can be obtained at a tire store or service center;
- when parking, make sure that the sides of the tire do not rub against the curb. Drive onto curbs or crossings slowly and only at an acute angle.
