Fuel pump (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W210)
The fuel pump is flanged to the side of the injection pump and is driven by a cam on the injection pump shaft via a pushrod. On CDI models, the high-pressure pump is fed by a booster pump driven by a control circuit.
