Correct seating position in the car (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W210)

0
The interior of the Mercedes E-Class models is characterized by soft, flowing shapes. Their organic nature has been transferred from the outside to the inside and complemented by the use of appropriate colors and materials, which has created a cabin that radiates calm and solidity. First-class materials, fine leather and hand-made decorative wood panels made of sycamore, walnut or maple emphasize its elegance. The E-Class models also have their own distinctive features.

Correct fit

The car seat is the driver's workplace. The driver is given a certain forced position because he needs to constantly control the pedals and steering wheel. At the same time, he must easily operate various levers and switches.

The following will help you avoid stress while driving:
  • 1. Tilt the back of the chair slightly backwards (100–120 degrees to the seat surface).
  • 2. The headrest should be positioned 2–3 cm above line "eye-ear";
  • 3. Sit so that your back is in full contact with the back of the chair.
  • 4. Grasp the steering wheel at the top. With your shoulders back, your arms should not be fully extended.
  • 5. When pressing the clutch or brake pedal, your legs should not be fully extended.
  • 6. When the car is moving, your knees should be slightly bent.

The well-thought-out two-tone color scheme of the interior is surprising. The upper edge areas of the sides are mostly dark. This reduces, for example, glare on the windshield. Light shades dominate below. This color scheme emphasizes the conceptual nature of the form. The stylish shape of the dashboard is based on the same principle.
