If the corresponding indicator light on the instrument panel lights up, this means that it is necessary to add fluid to the washer reservoir 1 (Fig. 3.11), located in the engine compartment.

In the Mercedes T-model station wagon, the fluid level in the rear window washer reservoir is controlled (arrow, Fig. 3.12).

To keep the tinted glass transparent, a special cleaning agent must be added to the water. Mercedes offers special concentrates 001986 19 71 10 and 000986 88 71 for this purpose.

Additionally, the letter "S" (summer) or "W" (winter) is added to the designation. The concentrate cannot be mixed with other cleaning agents.

1. For better mixing, first pour the concentrate into the tank, then water.
