Sequence of work
1. Pay attention to whether the steering wheel spokes are located symmetrically when driving in a straight line. Steering wheel offset to one side indicates a violation of the suspension settings.
2. Check if the front wheels are symmetrical with respect to each other in the straight position.
3. Establish whether the vehicle remains in a straight line on a level road when the steering wheel is released or «leads away» to the side.
4. Check if the steering wheel returns to its original position after turning.
5. Determine if the tire treads have even wear.
