Front door adjustment (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W210)

When adjusting, place the car on wheels on a flat horizontal surface. The gap around the door perimeter should be about 6 mm, the doors themselves should be flush with the adjacent body elements (recessed by 1 mm is permissible).

Sequence of works

1. Loosen the two hex bolts at the top and bottom of the door body.

2. Adjust the gaps. Tighten the bolts.

3. Loosen the tightening torque of the hex bolts on the strut and adjust the installation in relation to the plane of the front wing by turning the middle TORX bolt.



4. Adjust the trunnion 1 (fig. 11.26) flush-mounted lock for front and rear doors.
