Attention! When installing, it is necessary to use new rubber coupling mounting bolts.
Removal
1. Remove the steering column.
2. Using paint, mark the relative position of the rubber coupling and the steering gear pinion shaft, then unscrew the lower mounting bolt and remove the coupling.
3. Check the condition of the rubber element of the coupling for cracks, damage and replace if necessary.
Installation
1. Align the marks made before removal and install the rubber coupling onto the steering gear pinion shaft.
2. Screw in the new lower rubber coupling mounting bolt and tighten it to the specified torque.
3. Install the steering column.
