Removal



1. On the 1st version steering, unhook the eye (arrow) from the locking plate (96a), unscrew the nut (96)

2. On the 2nd version steering, unscrew the nut (96).

Installation



1. On the 1st version steering, fit the new gasket (96a) to the lower shaft and secure it.

2. On the 1st and 2nd version steering, first tighten the nut (96) on the upper steering shaft (70g). Place the lower steering shaft on the nut (96) and tighten them together, continuing to rotate both parts until they lock in the splined connection.

3. Turn the lower steering shaft (80a) so that the joint fork is positioned downwards. Insert the adjusting tool (075) into the groove of the upper shaft and install the lower shaft fork (80a) so that it is positioned parallel to the "X" to the adjusting tool (075).



4. Install the steering wheel on the steering shaft. Tighten the nut (96).
