1 - Bar key (Allen)
2 - Locknut
3 - Adjusting screw
1. Press the tie rod out of the steering arm (see Section Removal and installation of the steering mechanism).
2. Loosen locknut (2) on the steering shaft.
3. Turn the adjusting screw (2) shaft about 1/8 turn clockwise.
4. Turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times.
5. Using a torque wrench, evaluate the resistance of the steering shaft to rotation - the maximum resistance should occur in a straight position. If there is not enough resistance to rotation (see Specifications), arm yourself with a bar wrench (1) and turn the adjusting screw (3) counterclockwise, otherwise the screw must be turned clockwise.
6. Having achieved the desired result, fix the screw (3) and tighten the locknut (2).
7. Connect the rod to the bipod.
