1. Remove the rear seat cushion on the appropriate side and tilt the rear seat back forward. Remove the rear seat back for better access.



2. Carefully remove the interior lights (see Fig. Removing the interior lights).

3. Remove the seal from the front of the upper rear pillar interior trim panel. Release the retaining clip located in the interior light socket and remove the trim panel from the vehicle (see fig. Removing the seal from the top of the rear door pillar, Releasing the bracket securing the rear pillar trim panel, Removing the rear pillar trim panel).

4. Remove the rear side trim panel of the luggage compartment. Unscrew the screws and remove the front trim panel of the luggage compartment (see Fig. Location of screws for fastening the front trim panel of the luggage compartment).

5. Unscrew the bolt and remove the lower seat belt mount (see Fig. Location of the lower seat belt mounting bolt).

6. Unscrew the bolt and remove the upper seat belt mount (see Fig. Location of Upper Seat Belt Anchor Bolt).

7. Loosen the inertia drum mounting bolt, then unscrew the inertia drum bracket mounting bolts and remove the seat belt from the vehicle. If necessary, remove the inertia drum from the bracket (see fig. Location of the inertia drum bracket mounting bolts and the inertia drum to bracket mounting bolt).

Installation



1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
