Removal



1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.

2. Remove the decorative cover from the lower seat belt mounting bolt, then unscrew the bolt and remove it and the washer.

3. Remove the cushion and backrest of the corresponding rear seat.

4. Remove the screws and cover from the front of the rear seat side trim panel.

5. Remove the door seal from the door pillar.

6. Remove the window switch from the armrest and disconnect the electrical connector from it.

7. Unscrew the screws and remove the armrest.

8. Unscrew the screws and remove the door sill protective panel.

9. Disconnect and remove the side trim panel.

10. On models with a seat belt tensioner, disconnect the electrical connector from the retractor on the reel.

11. Remove the bolt and the upper seat belt anchor. Remove the belt guide and disconnect it from the seat belt height adjustment mechanism.

12. Unscrew the inertia drum mounting bolt and remove the seat belt from the door pillar.

Caution: On models with a seat belt tensioner, do not disconnect the tensioner from the reel.


Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Check the correct installation of the inertia drum and securely tighten all mounting bolts.
