Details of installation of gas-filled stop of the tailgate (models Universal)
1 - Rubber bushing; 2 - Screws; 3 - Mounting flange; 4 - Gas-filled stop
1. Remove the interior trim panel (see Section Removal and installation interior trim of door assemblies).
2. Remove the rubber bushing (4).
3. Remove the screws (2) securing the mounting flange (3).
4. Remove the attachment from the ball head of the stop mount.
5. Remove the stop (4) together with the mounting flange (3), carefully releasing it through the window in the side of the door frame.
6. Separate the assembly support mounting flange (3).
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - move the stop so that the mounting holes are aligned.
