Removal



Removal


1. Remove the air filter.

2. Disconnect the engine ventilation hose (12) from the cylinder head housing, after loosening the hose clamp (11).

3. Detach the cover (7) from the side and pull it upwards. Loosen the bolts and remove the cover (9). Note: The ignition cable shown in the picture does not correspond to type 202.

4. Loosen and remove all spark plug connectors by turning them left and right. Set the spark plug connectors with ignition coils aside.

5. Remove the cylinder head housing bolts (14). Remove the cylinder head housing with the side sealing gasket (2) and the gaskets (3) for the spark plug sockets.

Installation



1. Check the sealing gaskets for porosity and cracks. If one gasket is damaged, replace all gaskets at the same time.

2. When installing the sealing gasket, pay special attention to the correct fit into the rear recesses.



3. Tighten the cylinder head housing bolts evenly to 10 Nm.

4. Install the spark plug plugs in the correct order, a diagram is stamped on the cylinder head housing to explain the installation.

5. Secure with spring clips and tighten cover bolts.

6. Put on the engine ventilation hose and secure it with a clamp.

7. Install the air filter.

8. Warm up the engine to operating temperature and check the tightness of the cylinder head cover, especially in the area of the rear recesses.
