Removal
1. Remove the cover on the instrument panel on the driver's side.
2. Remove the fog light switch.
3. Unscrew the bolts 4 securing the bracket 5 to the instrument panel bracket 6 (see figure 10.2).

4. Remove bracket 5.
5. Cut the tie tape securing the electrical wiring to the instrument panel bracket 6.
6. Disconnect the M40t45.1 fan drive wiring connector.

7. Unscrew bolts 1.
8. Remove the M40t45 fan drive from the fan housing.
Installation
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
