Removal



1. Remove the front door guide.

2. Unscrew bolts 1 securing the outside rearview mirror and remove it (see figure 11.5).

3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the outside mirror electric adjustment unit.

4. Disconnect the wiring connectors in the passenger compartment from the central lock.

5. Remove the central lock wiring through the hole in the pillar.

6. Unscrew the door travel limiter 2 from the outer door panel (see figure 11.5).

7. Unscrew the bolts 3 securing the door to the hinges at the top and bottom.

8. Remove door 4.

Installation



9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

10. Remove door retainer 1 (see figure 11.6).

11. Remove the outside rearview mirror.



12. Loosen the hinges of the 2 doors and adjust the connecting distance and gap A by moving the door.

13. Tighten the door hinge mounting bolts.

14. Screw the door retainer.

15. Close the front door and adjust the door closing depth by moving the latch 1.

16. Tighten the retainer mounting bolts.

17. Check that the door closes easily.

18. Install the outside rearview mirror.
